From Marvel: “QUARANTINE: Is there anything worse than that slow, sinking, feeling like you’re getting sick? You can’t get warm. Your bones hurt. Your throat closes and your chest gets too heavy every time you breathe and then you know you’re doomed… so what if it happened to all the X-Men, all at once? The Sublime are back and they’ve unleashed a contagion on Utopia. To what end? Why now? And what’s next? Who’s left in San Francisco to deal with the Collective Man? In stores November 24, 2010.

Wolverine appears on the final page.

I know I’ve said this before, but there are simply to many major storylines going on at once in the Marvel Universe…

  1. Is it just me or does Uncanny feel like an ongoing filler title now? It seems like Marvel’s using Uncanny to fill up time between major crossovers. These storylines go on for 5 or 6 issues and there just doesn’t feel like there’s any future payoffs from any of these stories. Usually a writer has a much bigger picture in mind for their run on a book while interspersing it with a story to cover a short stretch. There just doesn’t feel like one in this series.

  2. Out of curiosity, does anyone know if DC is similar to Marvel in that aspect of too many stories at once to make sense? I don’t follow any of theirs at the moment.
