  1. What can I say. This is Jason Aaron at his best. He understands Wolverine. He understands Nightcrawler. And he artfully shows the depth of their friendship without being preachy.

As I said above, it is exactly stories like this that keep me reading comics.

    Bravo, Jason Aaron. Bravo.

  2. i just realized that this has been the first wolverine issue that deals with character development which doesn’t take place in a bar in quite a long time..

great job by jason aaron since that would’ve been an easier route to take..wolverine in a bar, thinking about kurt.

  3. i’m exaggerating of course (about the bar thing)..but you guys get my point.

  4. You mean like the scene in ‘Uncanny X-Men’ #527 this week? In a bar with Cyclops?

  5. I loved this. Poor Logan. Talk about tough love. But I loved how Kurt found a way to get through to him even from beyond the grave. I loved the humor. I loved how it shed some light on how difficult this relationship must have been at times, which only goes to show just how strong their bond was (is?). I would perhaps have liked to see a bit more of just how and why they became friends, but it can be a tale for later. This was about Logan finding a semblance of faith that he hadn’t quite reached before – perfectly suiting for the last issue of this series and leading into another. It’s not often a Wolverine issue makes me feel warm and fuzzy, but this did.

  6. I’m just curious with the first storyline in Wolverine’s new series if there will be a reunion between Logan and Kurt. I know Logan goes to hell but I think that it would be a rather nice and touching moment between the two of them to see each other one last time.
