  1. One really does get the sense that this is the crossover that will wrap up all the major mutant storylines from the past several years… finally!

I do have one major issue and that is the reaction of Nightcrawler to the existence of X-Force and Cyclops’ response. While I applaud Kurt’s initial outrage, I am shocked that he fails to react to Wolverine killing a prisoner in cold blood right in front of him. And then meekly follows orders when Cyclops scold him for bringing it up publicly.

IMHO, Nightcrawler should have walked at that moment. And been applauded for doing so.

I don’t care, if as Wolverine said, they are at war. You kill in combat, but you don’t kill defenseless prisoners. And not to sound like a broken record, but that is war crime territory.

If you don’t believe me — research what happened to the German guards who killed the Allied POWs at the end of ‘The Great Escape’.

  2. One tihing I didn’t like was X-23 acting as a member of X-Force? Wolverine said himself to Cyclops in X-Force #25 that X-23 quit, so what the hell?

  3. i agree DiG, it was horribly anti-climactic and weak on kurt’s part for them to write it like that. I would think that would be large enough of a secret and shock on many levels for him to walk, especially considering his character. or if not walk, at least not just give in so quickly.
