Let me state that Wolverine and the original Deathlok are two of my favorite characters of all-ttime.So bear in mind that I opened this issue with a great deal of expectations. And while the Wolverine-Captain America piece if quite strong, the Deathlok section felt like a complete ripoff of Terminator. That said, the last page is pretty awesome.

Anyone else?

I think he stated he was going the Terminator route with this iteration…I thought it was fun, the humor thrown in was a nice tip as well…I <3 Aaron. I however dislike the Wolverine/Captain A buddy buddy scenes. At best they respect eachother, Captain America should feel uncomfortable in Logan's presence due to his volatile nature, just like everyone should. Wolverine should be the last character slurping off of Steve Rogers

The Terminator ‘tip’ was fun, but I never really understood how with comic books, using a movie plot is an homage, but in any other medium, it’s plagiarism.

As for the Wolverine/Captain America buddy scenes, I can see your point. But I do thoroughly enjoy Wolverine in sequences where he doesn’t have to kill hundreds of ninjas who attack him for no apparent reason.

I must say too that Cap A/Wolverine scene doesn’t fit. These are two characters who can develop this kind of relationship because they don’t have too much history together and as Jesse said before, the little history they had, well Logan was brainwashed. Making a scene with characters like Colossus or Nightcrawler makes sense, or with Carol Danvers to name one character outside the X-Men, as they are really linked with Logan’s life.
