TAKIN’ CARE OF BUSINESS: Aleksei Sytsevich just wants to retire. The economy is bad, and freelance jobs are harder to find. Business just isn’t what it used to be. It’s time to hang up the suit and live the good life. Of course, when the “business” is super-villain crime sprees as the Rhino, and the “suit” in question is his costume, the Rhino is finding it a bit harder to close the books on his “career.” Luckily, the Avengers are more than glad to help an old foe get out of the game, even if it means dealing with a little bit of trouble. Or, in this case, a LOT of trouble, because the Abomination and the Leader aren’t going to let their old teammate step away from the game quite that easily!

Whatever happen to the days of Wolverine appearing in only one title per month?

Facebook comments:

  1. Whatever happen to the days of Wolverine appearing in only one title per month?

Good question. How many titles does Batman appear in?

That’s pretty much your answer. XD

  2. I have a question to open some debate. In August they’re doing their variant covers with the border of characters like they did many years back but updated. Do these count as Wolverine appearances?

And Wolverine stopped appearing only once a month when he got a daytime organizer.

8:00 am – 9:00 am: Wake up wherever and attend meeting with whatever group who’s home base I woke up in.
9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Help team stop whatever evil force has pissed us off this time.
12:00 pm – 12:30 pm: Travel cross country to join another team in their meeting.
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Team meeting and drink beer.
1:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Help team 2 stop whatever evil force has pissed us off.
4:30 pm – 6:30 pm: Covert mission with X-For…um…drink beer.
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm: Try and figure out why my history keeps changing on a month to month basis.
7:30 pm – 8:00 pm: Appear in 15 different places across time and space.
8:00 pm – 10:00 pm: Prime time television
10:00 pm – 1:00 am: Be a loner and go fight whatever evil force has pissed me off personally.
1:00 am – whenever: Drink beer till pass out.

  3. That pretty much summed up issue #73. ^_^

  4. Ah… the wonderful character border!

Only one will count my thoughts, though to be honest, I haven’t really been counting variant covers as appearances.

  5. Enjoyed Wolverine’s typical day schedule …

…fight whatever evil force has pissed us / me off this time…
    …drink beer…

Could do without the boring team meetings, though!
